What if I don't know where my spouse is?
Then we can't do an uncontested divorce in Lincoln County. You may be able to pursue an uncontested divorce, but you have to 'publish' the summons and complaint in the paper and file the case in the last known jurisdiction where your spouse resided.
Why Lincoln County
Because Lincoln County is smart. They recognize the value and efficiency of an uncontested divorce. They knew that they could aid the process by allowing the paperwork to be submitted via an agreed process where there would be no litigation. They suspended the parenting course requirement in uncontested divorces so as to ensure that they would be able to continue to effectuate a straightforward process for the Citizens of Washington State.

Further, our law office is located mere blocks from the Lincoln County Courthouse. We practice in Lincoln County every day. We understand the process and how it works. If an issue arises, we are right here to deal with it.
